Below is a list of dates, times and locations of Fourth of July fireworks events being held this year across Delmarva. For specific questions or details about any of the below listed events, readers are advised to contact their town or city halls with inquiries.
East of Georgetown ….there will be LOTS of traffic getting into and out of these beaches; suggest going in early, finding parking (perhaps taking the public transit located behind Jungle Jim’s), grabbing some dinner, enjoying the boardwalk, and then the fireworks. Plan on at least an hour getting out of town at the end of the night
Rehoboth Beach: Thursday, July 4, 9:15 p.m.; Fireworks will be launched from the beach and seen up and down the boardwalk and shoreline.
Dewey Beach: Thursday, July 4, shortly after 9 p.m.; Fireworks will be set off from two barges off the shoreline and will be visible to the Dewey Beach and surrounding area
Bethany Beach: Thursday, July 4, Dusk; Fireworks are best viewed from the beach or boardwalk
West of Georgetown … approximately 15 miles … direct route via Rt. 9
Laurel: Thursday, July 4, Dusk; downtown
South of Georgetown – via Rt. 113 S – approximately 30 miles – Ocean Pines is before Ocean City; you’ll hit all the traffic travelling into Ocean City. Salisbury via Rt. 9W to Rt. 113 S – Follow signs to Salisbury – about 35 miles.
Ocean City: Thursday, July 4, 9:30 p.m.; downtown on the beach at North Division Street AND uptown at 125 Street at Northside Park. For more information, call 1-800-626-2326.
Ocean Pines: Thursday, July 4; 9:15 p.m., South Gate lawn surrounding the Worcester County Veterans Memorial
Salisbury: Thursday, July 4, Dusk.; Salisbury University Athletic Complex. “Americana Avenue” (on Wayne Street) opens at 6:30 p.m.
